Installed easily with little trouble, not yet used on the water as the boat is stored dry. Only concern is the cotter pin looks a little undersized although the manufacturer claims it will support an anchor at 3X the weight (14lbs) of mine. You'll likely still need a d-ring bracket with a lanyard (I did)if you want some redundancy ref safety and don't have a windlass. This bracket is my primary anchor tie down/lock and the lanyard is the backup.
