This was an exact fit for my 1986 Bass Hawk. The construction is flawless. The height is adjustable by pulling out the knob on the post and unscrewing the tension. This isn't easy to do while seated. This is my only objection to the design, but in all fairness I rarely find that I need or want to adjust the height of the seat. The Wise fishing seat was a perfect installation match and the combo looks oem in my rig.
