6" Mighty Grip Stern Handle - Springfield

I ordered the first pair of these handles for a 14' Grumman from West Marine. They worked great. I got a 12' Dura Nautic and wanted a couple of handles for the transom for that boat and iBoats had them for about $4.00 less. I ordered them and they came promptly and they're the same as the ones from West. They're heavy duty and fit the had comfortably.

I thought living in south Louisiana these handles would be readily available at the usual outdoors/marine businesses, but no such luck.The handles arrived timely and are just what I needed. They fit my 14' Tracker aluminum flat boat perfectly and the screw holes lined up without issue. The handles are s y and I am very happy with the purchase.

I needed a handle on the front of my Johnboat. I used a pair of these, one on the inside and one on the out. The outer one is where I tie the boat to the trailer winch. The inner one is useful for carrying the boat. I painted the original to camo to match the boat.

These handles matched the holes from the original handle on my Jon boat perfectly.

Your vernacular on the web site uses "Handle" not "Handles" therefore I ordered 2 thinking I needed one for each side of the boat. When they came there were two in each package. Now I have two extra and have no need for the extra two.

These handles comes in a pair, are made of cast aluminum andf ideal for mounting on aluminum rowboats from 10 to 14ft. The holes are 1/4" size so 4 sets of 1/4" hexbolts, nuts and wide washers will let you mount them with a drill in minutes. Hexbolt length depends on thickness of transon. 1 inch is fine for plain hull, 2 at least for hull + wood transom engine mount board. Only way to improve this product is if they came with the mounting hardware.

Item arrived exactly as described. I needed larger screw holes, so I bored the holes out. It wasn't difficult to do as they are aluminum. Overall great product.

Fits all popular boats just like the original ones did. And....the price is right!
