My original pole light had begun to not be dependable because of a loose wire connection in the bulb holder. I might repair it, but I am very pleased with the replacement I got from iBoats. I've been out with it at night twice and it works great, does not flicker. Maybe I'll get eight years out of this one like I did the first one. I like the long pole, which keeps the light above people sitting in the boat. IBoats service was good and kept me informed of delivery steps. Price was competitive.
