The fitting itself is ok. The one at the tank worked, but the one at the engine would not fit. I have an 2007 Yamaha F15CESH 15 hp 4-stroke. Apparently Yamaha had a separate one for the tank and one for the motor. My old ones have arrows indicating direction of flow and one will only fit at the tank and the other at the motor. Perhaps these fittings would work on older engines.
