I had contacted customer service. Braesgate was not included in the box with the cover.

Mildly disappointed by Glenn - North Port, FloridaJuly 24, 2012

The bimini top was delivered on time and in good condition. However, the website that I ordered from ( states that there will be "step-by-step" instructions included. There were no instructions included what-so-ever. I called the 1-800 #, and was advised to call the manufacturer (Carver)because they only sell the product, not service it. After some discussion I was emailed the instructions from The instructions were clear, except that it listed #8 1/2" screws to join the stainless poles together. There was a rivet tool included with my order - without rivets or instructions. A trip to Lowes to buy rivets and a quick instruction from the salesman was a life saver. I did have everything together in about an hour and set it up on the boat which took about 30 minutes. It looks nice. The width is perfect, the height is perfect, but the six foot bimini is only 5 1/2 foot instead of six - which puts the seat forward of the center console in the drip line or in the sun. Overall - I will not be a return customer. Get your bimini from someone local if at all possible. The internet is such a risk. For $818 I feel iboats came up short.

Measure Carefully Before You Order by Gordon - Mobile, AlabamaSeptember 19, 2011

Unlike the aluminum bar, the stainless steel brace bars are not easily modified. Carver recommends moving the mounting hardware aft to obtain the proper fit. In my case the boat is simply not long enough and I had to buy a tubing cutter and drill out the rivets to fit the brace. If you are not comfortable with cutting and drilling stainless steel, then assess the dimensions of your boat carefully before you place your order.
