1. item was delivered in two days, awesome. 2. Package was pretty beat up, looked like someone had retaped the box. 3. Two of three pipe cap ends were cracked and broken. 4. Install went fairly quick. Located and mounted on the tongue next to where the winch frame is mounted. 4. Here is where a little more engineering would make a great product even better. The small handle that is used to keep the ladder from swiveling and swinging into the boat hull is impossible to tighten with just your hand. The first time I tightened the nut by hand, the ladder swiveled and crashed against the boat hull, making a nice gash. In order to really tighten the nut, I took a rubber mallet and smacked the handle until it was tight. Now the ladder will not move. Next, when you insert the handle bar into the ladder assembly the ladder wobbles because the receiving end of the pipe is considerably larger than the handle bar. I probably will try to find a bushing that I can insert to tighten things up. And I will purchase 2" vinyl pipe caps to replace the broken caps that came with the unit. All in all, even with the couple of needed tweaks, it is a great addition to the trailer. And iBoats order to ship time was great. Would recommend purchasing this item from iBoat.com.
