28" Fixed Height Plug-In 2-3/8 Post Only - Springfield Marine

bought it too long intentionally. very easy to cut off to the perfect height.

I had a short post and wanted a longer one. The length I wanted was not available so I ordered a long one so that I could cut it to length. I did this and then found out that the middle of the post is slightly larger that the ends. I had to sand it down to get it to fit into the hole on the floor of the boat. It was a difficult process and now it is still a few inches too tall. One day I will cut it off again and go through the process of sanding the end down to size. I had no idea that the post was not the same diameter from end to end.

This product was as advertised except that it is slightly larger than 2-3/8". We had to grind and brush the post to make it fit. Other than that little problem it is in place, stable and exactly what I wanted.
