    I have two of these and works very well. One I connect only when I tow and the other I leave connected to my SS trailblazer due to the 7-pin is behind the rear bumper.

    Performs as desired (i.e., 5th wire operates trailer brakes). Also, cheaper and more convenient than puchasing plug and extension wire seperately.
