Garelick 2 Step I/O Transom Platform & Telescoping Ladder Boat Swim Platforms

The ladder and platform are well made and s y but the holder used to secured theladder is a cheap thin piece of Velcro that seems to have been an after thought in design. I will be surprised if the Velcro lasts a year. If I would not have drilled the hole required for assembly before I realized how the ladder is secured I would have returned it. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!

The ladder was obviously returned by a previous customer. Bolts were stripped and will need to buy additional bolts from the hardware store. Ladder has strap to hold it in the stored position. However strap is too short and will not work. Will not buy from iBoats.com ever again.

It feels solid and eventually bolted up. But...Two of the pre marked holes from the factory in the white platform didn't line up with the holes in the stainless frame. One of the stainless frame members was bent wrong on the top end. It took 30 minutes with a good vice to rebend it. What a pain. And a velcro strap to hold the ladder up - is that the best they could come up with? They almost got it right - a little attention to quality would help.

Simple to assemble and mount. Very sturdy. Excellent quality.
