This is the perfect bow light for a boat that has a high bow and low stern such as some bass boats. The angled shaft keeps the red/green lights aimed forward rather than up to assist being seen by other boats. The white light that is switch controlled is an added plus for lighting the front deck of a bow rider or bass boat. This ass'y does require a three pin base so make sure you have one. This is a very good bow light.
