Used as originall equipment on many fine walkthru windshields. Windshield support bars are made from either anodized alumnium tubing with nylon fittings or powder coat aluminum tubing with chrome plated zamak feet. The fittings allow for pivot in almost every direction for easy installation.

Needs stronger screws

The supports themselves were perfectly fine. Its the screws that came with them. entirely too weak (or simply not large enough in diameter) to screw into the window frame. twisted off in the frame ( and not because I over tightened them because they had not yet "pulled up" against the support) and then I had the lovely task of removing the remainder from the frame.

Beware!!!! They send the wrong screws with these Support bars!!

Tried installing this first screw shattered the windshield!!! a new one is $1,800!! don't take the chance!

No the smallest Taylor Made offers is 11 inch unfortunately.

My tube is 9" on my support bar. Is that where you get your total length?
A:
No, Fold the plastic support tabs (where the mounting screws go) over so they are at a ninety degree angle to the aluminum tube. This is the way they are shipped (or in the container). Measure the outside length of the tabs-measuring along the tube. That is your measurement.
