Spotlight housing is NOT made of durable plastic/rubber. You have to be careful and not drop it. Light is more like 1,000 candlepower and it's not a true halogen...more like a higher candle-powered incandescent light bulb. However, it's good for camping but not recommended for Marine use at night.

Would not recommend any one to buy this. It's not even as Bright as my maglight. Cheap construction can't even open the cord compartment. It's Cheap Crap
